Sant Elm Beach

If you want a fine sand beach with more accessible services for small children or babies, the closest to the Coll des Pi is Sant Elm beach.

Sant Elm Beach, also known as Es Geparut (El Horobado, in Spanish) is 25km from Coll des Pi, 35 minutes by car, in the south-west of Mallorca. It is the longest beach in the municipality of Andratx and one of its main tourist attractions, it is classified as a blue flag beach. The beach is divided into two bathing areas, the main one is a white sand beach; the small one, Sant Elm Petit, is made up mainly of small rocks and sand, so it is usually quieter.

One of the most original features of the beach is the Islote des Pantaleu located off its coast from where the conquest of Mallorca by the Crown of Aragon began in 1229 led by King Jaime I. Experienced swimmers will be able to take advantage of the opportunity to discover it. The clarity of the water in this area is exceptional, making it an idyllic beach for both diving and swimming. Out to sea, past the Islet of Pantaleu, there is a much larger uninhabited island, the Isla de sa Dragonera. The best way to visit Sa Dragonera is through a boat excursion that originates from the Port of Sant Elm.

We recommend the beach to families with small children, since the sea is usually calm and there are not many waves. In addition, the depth of the sea floor is progressively increasing and there is a small park for children to play at the back of the beach.

The level of occupation of the beach is higher than in the rest of the stone coves near our Finca. The rocky part of the beach, Sant Elm Petit, is usually less traveled.

This beach has all kinds of services: bathrooms and showers, disabled access, hammocks and umbrellas for rent, lifeguard service and restaurants with views of the coast.

Near Cove is Conills street, there is a parking but it is paid, you can also park near the beach in other streets.
